MREDS Marine Renewables Industry Research Dissemination Event

To be held at ICIT, Old Academy, Stromness, Orkney.

The purpose of the event is to showcase some of the research currently being undertaken in Orkney and Caithness by researchers at ICIT, Heriot-Watt University, in particular around the development and impacts of marine renewables in the Pentland Firth and Orkney Waters (PFOW) and by researchers from the Environmental Research Institute, UHI-NHC, Thurso. ICIT HWU and ERI UHI are currently working on a £1m research capacity building SRDG programme 'Advancing Marine Renewable Energy Capabilities in Scotland', under the MREDS programme

This event is aimed at people in the renewables industry, or those who are interested to find out about the research currently being undertaken in the Pentland Firth and Orkney Waters area.
